Digital transcription is a system whereby ‘voice files’ can be transmitted over a computer network (in the form of an emailed attachment or via a secure website) to a recipient who has the digital software installed on their computer.

The voice file is accessed via the digital software and transcribed as an MS Word document by using earphones and foot pedal connected to the computer. Upon completion, the Word document is then emailed back to the sender via website or email for reviewing/editing and/or printing.
